Paws Ahead Training Centre

Paws Ahead is a 4000 sq ft indoor warehouse. We have 3600 sq ft of play/training area covered with interlocking rubber matting. There's plenty of parking and in the cooler weather we are kept warm and dry.

History

Paws Ahead K-9 Sports Centre was established in April 1998 in Burnaby, British Columbia.

The original founder, Roxanne Zieffle, was attending agility classes in a back yard and wanted to delve deeper into training but there were no facilities to be found in Burnaby, BC. She and a partner decided to start a training facility in Burnaby so they could train all year round indoors. As a result, in 1998 Paws Ahead K-9 Sports Centre was opened.

Paws Ahead Doggy Daycare Ltd. was started by Roxanne in September 2001. In June, 2003 Paws Ahead K-9 Sports Centre was purchased by Paws Ahead Doggy Daycare Ltd. and are now operating as one company with one owner.
